How free camping works at the campsite

Path through the woods

Besides the pitches, the campsite has two free camping areas. One is for tents only; the other allows tents and vehicles. There are no marked pitches: you set up wherever there's room in the area.

Each area has a maximum number of people per night. When you book, the website shows how many places are left for your dates.

What's included and what isn't

The free camping areas have no electricity. As in the rest of the campsite, you have access to the toilets, showers, washing-up sinks and drinking water. You pay per person and per tent or vehicle, at the same prices as on pitches.

How to book

Choose your dates on the website and pick the area: tents only, or tents and vehicles. The site shows how many places are left for those nights and, if there's room, your booking is confirmed straight away. You pay when you arrive at the campsite.

There's no need to pick a specific spot: when you arrive, set up wherever there's space within the area.

Pitch or free camping?

If you need electricity or want a spot reserved just for you, choose a pitch. If you're bringing a tent and value price and the freedom to set up where you like, free camping is for you.
