Walks

Short walks from the campsite

The Sant Aniol stream flowing between rocks and woodland

You don't need a big hike to enjoy the valley. These walks are short, without much climbing, and perfect for an afternoon, for stretching your legs on arrival day or for going with children.

Santa Cecília de Sadernes

The 12th-century Romanesque church of Santa Cecília stands on a hill above the valley, its bell tower turned into a defensive tower and the Gitarriu cliffs behind. It's a short walk and, in the late-afternoon light, the view is lovely.

To the Gomarell

The first stretch of the Sant Aniol path is level and shady: it passes the ruins of Sespasa castle, the Valentí bridge, the old Ca la Bruta inn and La Muntada to the Gomarell weir, about 50 minutes from Sadernes. Here you can turn round and come back the same way.

Along the way there are pools for dipping your feet in summer. Bring water, a cap and shoes that can get wet.
