What to pack for camping in the Alta Garrotxa

This is a mountain valley: days can be hot, but nights are usually cool, even in summer. Bring a warm sleeping bag and an extra layer for the evening.
For the tent: spare pegs (the ground can be hard), a groundsheet and a head torch. If you're on a pitch and want electricity, bring an extension lead.
For walking: hiking boots, shoes that can get wet for the stream, a water bottle and a bag to take your rubbish home.

For the stream and pools
Water shoes or sandals that hold your foot firmly, a quick-dry towel and a dry bag for your phone. The water is cold even in August. Remember: no soap or sun cream in the water.
For the mountains
A small backpack, a map or downloaded route (there's little signal), a head torch, a basic first-aid kit, a cap and sun protection, and a windproof jacket: the weather changes quickly. On long routes, carry extra water: there are almost no springs on the way.
